#DB2X-WP WebRTC via frigate?

Hello! I'm here to make sure I don't screw myself over any worse.

So! I have already gotten an empiretech camera in the past to do webrtc with Frigate.

I've acquired for myself a DB2X-WP I intend to use with PoE, but I noticed it works VERY different for its calls. I cannot find anywhere on the Internet whether it ALSO does WebRTC like the standard cameras do, which is a problem because I need to send alerts to phones via HomeAssistant.

So I'm asking here in advance while I can still return it because I'm about to not have time to mess with it for nearly a week: does the DB2X-WP support WebRTC or do I need to go make a return and get a different camera that DOES, and potentially also buy a speaker to go with it for the ones that don't have one built in? If I can't figure it out myself in time I'll have to assume it can't and probably return it

Official app won't work because all of the cameras will be physically isolated from the Internet. It HAS to go through Frigate/HA, and apparently video SIP isn't in a fully working state for the PBX custom integration I found.

Apologies in advance on because I feel like I missed something obvious on this one.

EDIT: [SOLUTION FOUND](#1332598082256244798 message) (NOT YET TESTED FOR MYSELF, BUT SHOULD WORK AT LEAST)

(I hope hardware is still the right place since this is more about the doorbell's capabilities than HA's integration ability)

I believe it is pretty complicated, there are some threads on the go2rtc github about it

Maybe I misunderstood, based on a quick search it seemed the same as the Dahua VTO

OH yeah it is

#

Well, it's one of them

Ah, darnit, apparently it's been in progress for the better part of two years to get go2rtc going with it, and trying to tie it in with a SIP system is gonna result in something too complex for my target users to maintain.

I'll have to return the doorbell.

TY!

OH WIAT they DID get it working and I just missed it.
