Hey folks, hope you're well.
I recently installed a HX711 scale on my bed. It works decently well, however the values fluctuate a bit and I'm struggling to come up with a way to reliably interpret the given data.
I just want to be able to tell if one or two people are in bed.
As you can see from the attached graph, the value jumps significantly when one person enters the bed and then significantly less when the second person does so.
The absolute values also differ from night to night and the values tend to drift over night, making an absolute if value > X kinda impossible.
Anyone got any idea? I tried the trends helper, that didn't help me though.
I assume theres a clever mathematical way to solve this, however I can't come up with one and my google-fu isn't strong enough.
TIA!
