#Zwavejs2Mqtt - Accidentally deleted volume

Due to poor decision making after breaking my ankle and on pain meds, I accidentally deleted the zwavejs2mqtt volume on my container implementation. No backup, yet another poor decision but here we are. I'm now trying to recover. The zwavejs2Mqtt container is back up and running, I can see many of the zwave devices and it is communicating with my MQTT instance. I can see MQTT events when I subscribe to the events using mosquitto_sub. Home Assistant is not recognizing the events as all the devices are offline. I have validated that the nodeids are the same and the mqtt prefix is correct but HA is still not recognizing any of the devices. The messages seem to be in a different format.

Is there a way to recover from this point? Or do I just have to start over and remove all the devices from both zwavejs and HA and start over. I realize that I likely need to reset everything but just trying to avoid that as it is not easy getting around with a massive boot on my ankle.

Battery devices need to be manually woken up to re-interview. Or wait for their wake up interval (could be hours or days).

Double check the MQTT configuration, it has multiple ways of configuring topics

Though, not sure why you aren't using the Z-Wave integration if you are using HA

There's zero reason to remove the devices from the network and start over, either way.
