#Need Help with Zigbee Stick on HA

Configured it with ... Zigbee2MQTT? Or with ZHA? Or something else?
i tried first Zigbee2MQTT. But was not available on my adon store. So i decided to user Mosquitto broker.
The broker has nothing to do with Zigbee
what is the difference?
The broker is how MQTT works
So for Zigbee2MQTT (which uses the stick) to talk to Home Assistant
so i need to install Zigbee2MQTT?
Or use ZHA, which is built into Home Assistant
If you don't need MQTT for something else then ZHA is the easier route
ZHA is easier to set up
Just plug the stick in (to a USB extension cable) and set up the integration
It should, yes, the chipset is supported
That's not a great stick though, no external antenna
lower than 10 meters?
It could be fine, or it could be cheap junk
Zigbee range is typically under 10 meters with a good antenna
It's a low power mesh network 😉
SMLight are a good brand to buy - they cost more, but you get something well designed
i also have an aqara hub, can i improve the range with that?
Lots of people do that, yes
Just view the docs and click the option to add it
It's an integration, no add-ons involved
#integrations-archived integrate Home Assistant with devices or services, or provide functionality within Home Assistant.
#add-ons-archived provide additional software or services, which an integration could possibility integrate with. Add-ons are for Home Assistant OS and Supervised only, other install methods can install software other ways.

thx
As seen in the docs
