My issue is that I have a Yeelight W4 bulb, can only go from 2700-6500K in reality, but on the dashboard I can change it to 1700K, which gives an error .
#Incorrect maximum color temperature for my Light bulb, causing an error.

I would open an issue for your integration in core, and state that the attribute is not correct.
You can override the attribute with customize.
