Hi, I just bought a couple of Sonoff ZBMINIR2 relays that I wanted to use in detached mode to control my smart light bulbs. However now I found out that ZHA support is broken for this. However I don't want to switch to Z2M. Now what I was wondering is if I couldn't just skip the relay entirely. Thus I would connect my smart bulb directly to power without any switch inbetween and then connect the ZBMINIR2 to the switch. Wouldn't this essentially lead to the same effect or am I missing something?
Thanks!

Yes somewhat. If zha doesn't support the device it probably won't support it without a lamp attached either id guess
How did you proceed with this? I also have the ZBMINIR2s and I don't want to migrate to Z2m
Is this a know issue being worked on?
I just connected up my ZBMINIR2 now and it works fine with ZHA, but if I turn on detached mode the behaviour seems to completely break. When I turn off the physical switch the light stays on (good) and the switch in HA shuts off (good? I was thinking the sensor would change instead?), but then a second later the switch toggles on and back off in HA, and then when I next press the switch, the relay toggles (bad) and it again does the rapid toggle in HA
