#Automation Triggers but decides to do nothing.

This was working perfectly fine until latest HA update. i don't know why but everytime it decides to do nothing now. don't see what has changed..

Well it triggered at 06:54 - so it fails both for the first conditions, and if it is a "Detected" trigger it fails the 3rd... So I dunno what you want from it other than to do nothing
Have you just been waking up between 3am and 7am rather than after 7am recently?

it's supposed to trigger at any time, the conditions just have it set that before 7am the brightness is lower

That's not what you've written
Condition 1: 0700-1800 - 40% brightness
Contition 2: 1800-0300 - 100% brightness
There's a 4 hour window where it will never trigger, and if you want it to be darker at night then you've got the brightnesses the wrong way round
Also, you don't need to tick every weekday - if you want it to run every day, just don't define any and it will work fine

ok i stand corrected with the 4 hour window as i'm never up at that time. but it should still trigger at 6am as today was when i tested that

why should it trigger at 6am? that's outside both of those time ranges

is it possible somehow the time is not being translated properly. my visual editor shows 12 hour format. yaml shows 24 hour time

i get what you're saying but.. this worked flawlessly every time before as i always woke up at 6am and checked the desktop.
i took out all the inactive windows
i'll try again later.

check the time zone on your HA install? idk man, as written this should never have worked at 6am
