#Who will try this super new package for "cool sleep & warm wake-up time" (heating recovery time)

While sleeping 😴 , heating can be completely turned off ❄️ and boosted 🔥 at the correct recovery time. The challenge is to identify the recovery time⏰ , neither too soon (to avoid wasting money, emitting CO2, and using excess kWh), nor too late (to obtain thermal comfort).

What do you think about package for this? Is it worth to try something else like a blueprint or another way to pack this thing?

Oh this sounds interesting. I cant really turn of my heating because of a old building, it will loose to much heat over a cold winter night.
Can the WakeUp Time be controlled by an Alarm Time of an Android Device?
I currently. Set the Temperature of my Tado Devices to a set Temp and say the Tado Api to ignore the Auto Schedule.
Then I have a small wakeup routine with a light routine that slowely fade on my lights 20 Minutes before the next alarm and also sets Tado to Automatic Mode at the start of this fade in routine, which then heats up my rooms again and then works normally over the day.
My "Night Mode" Automation is also controlled by Ringer Settings and ambient light sensor of my phone so I can in theory go to bed and lay my phone on the screen, setting the DND Mode and blocking the light sensor, after 10 minutes the Night Mode gets enabled and all lights turn off and the heating switches to right now 17°C but this somehow broke and I just say google good night haha

So just to make my current setup more clear 😄

Also cant this concept be extended to heating in general, if you have timeblocks stating 20°C at 12:00 then the calibration could mean that this temp is reached at this time and not just started to heat at this time.
I think tado itself does something like this with "early start", but Im not quite sure.

#

Also the other way around for the bedroom a temperature of 17-18°C is optimal before going to bed, so a cool down calibration would be neat haha

Hmm any reason youre using this for your package?
Its maybe helpful for the asleep estimation but I dont see a reason to use this for the awake. 🤔

#

that's the sensor of HA

should be just next alarm

#

also what I didnt quite get yet is this sensor

#

its specificly NOT called Doze Mode or so, so I dont think its related to the higher standby state

#

the Alarm Sensor should be at the bottom of all the sensors

weird maybe only Pixel provide these sensors?

but yeah you know a sensor/input for the Alarm time would be nice so it doesnt matter what will be put in there and something like this could be used if avaiable

do you also have the sleep confidence? haha
