#Zigbee - I think messed up

I have a Hue bridge and several Zigbee plugs and lights attached to it. I recently wanted to start monitoring energy at a few select outlets, so bought some Third Reality ones with energy monitoring. After getting those, I found I couldn't add them to the third reality app and the hue bridge does not see them, so I thought I needed the third reality Zigbee hub. I just ordered one, got it all set up with the plugs I ordered, and then went to add the third reality integration in Home Assistant, only for it to tell me that to do so I need to add the Zigbee integration first - which apparently needs a Zigbee USB hub hooked to my HA server?

Am I understanding correctly that I need to return the Third Reality hub and instead get one of these Zigbee USB devices for the server, and then pair those plugs to that instead? Thanks!!

That would be best. You don't need any hub, but you do need a Zigbee dongle, USB or Ethernet, to connect Zigbee devices directly to HA
