My HA Voice PE, after being successfully paired and set up in Home Assistant, doesn’t activate when I say ‘Okay Nabu’ (the wake word I chose). Additionally, any sound played through the device’s speaker seems to be in slow motion. For example, when I select a voice in the setup assistant and click ‘Try’ to play it on the device, it plays in slow motion. Could my device be faulty?

Are you using the default firmware?
Yes, v25.1.0. I even try to reinstall the firmware, but it didn't solve the problem.
That seems to me like sample rate problem
But how would that come to happen with the default firmware? 🤔
Piper sometimes fucks it up, but that wouldn't explain microphone, just speaker...
maybe device needs a factory reset or firmware reinstalled?
not responding to wake word is an odd one.
Here is a video of the problem happening
I have the same problem. I plugged it into my laptop to view the logs I get this if I press the center button, but it just times out, and gives a red ring after a bit.
If I play music from Music Assistant it plays slow, and gives this in the logs:
[19:05:06][D][media_player:080]: 'Media Player' - Setting [19:05:06][D][media_player:087]: Media URL: http://192.168.93.159:8097/flow/media_player.home_assistant_voice_edfc04_media_player/7d0b76cf09204aa7b965ed401067545e.mp3?ts=1738195509 [19:05:06][D][ring_buffer:034]: Created ring buffer with size 65536 [19:05:06][D][ring_buffer:034]: Created ring buffer with size 65536 [19:05:06][D][nabu_media_player.pipeline:173]: Reading MP3 file type [19:05:08][D][nabu_media_player.pipeline:184]: Decoded audio has 2 channels, 48000 Hz sample rate, and 16 bits per sample
Also I can't speak for Felipe, but I know I have reset it several times, and I have even reloaded the firmware, all to no effect.
