#Unable to edit helpers in companion app

So time and again I'm unable to edit helpers in the HA Android companion app. When it happens on PC I can CTRL-F5 and it works. But no such option in HA app. What to do? Pretty much this issue: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/cant-edit-helpers/603879

I've tried clearing the cache of the app but it didn't change anything.

If I try to edit a helper by going to settings → devices and services → helpers and then click a helper, then the cog in the top right, I get an overlay that just shows the name of the helper, nothing else (see screendump) Is this a bug? Is my home assistant installation broken somehow? Edit: I’ve updated to the latest version and rebooted...

open the overview of open apps and swipe up to terminate the companion app, then start it again?

Doesn't help. Even tried force close.

if that isn't enough you may have to go deeper into the controls to terminate and clean the cache for the app. i have never had to do that

Like I said, I tried clearing the cache for it.

then i have no idea. 😦 never had that problem. just a swipe up has fixed any artifacts after updates for me

i just had to test with one of my helpers from the android app, and i do get the edit gui when i press the cogs

Troubleshooting - Show and share logs doesn't show anything when I hit the cog wheel on an input helper.

I'm using the default theme, I've tried changing language, I've tried changing zoom level.

Anyone else got suggestions? It's still an issue.

I have not. I assumed there was a fix I could do. 🙂
