Hello! I am a little overwhelmed by all of the models and options available. It appears Reolink are having a sale this weekend on their website so I'd like to grab something if the deal is worth it.
I am thinking to start I really only need 3-4 cameras outside. Front door/entry way or doorbell camera, either works. Plus an additional front yard, side yard, and back yard camera. Im planning to do
a PoE system so I assume it is worth it to purchase a Reolink NVR as a bundle? This is where I get confused. I am working on making a smart home rack to centralize all of my equipment so If
money can be saved going another route, Im comfortable doing that. I like the idea of having floods turn on as a deterrent, but again, if it makes more sense or is more cost effective to do separate floods
this is where I am clueless.

The NVR is optional as the cameras can be utilized with microsd card storage, but having this in a centralized place may be a nice to have. Software hosted solutions like Frigate seem to cause trouble from what I've heard once you go with higher resolutions. That would be avoided with their recorder - unless someone breaks in, sees the noticable device and just takes it.
