Hi all. Hopefully this hasn't been covered in the past but I'm looking for a reason why I might be encountering sensor delays from the Android companion app. I have checked the background refresh settings and turned off the battery optimization setting for the app.
I utilize the charger plugged-in sensor for the app as an automation trigger and I'm having sporadic delays with this trigger which implies the sensor isn't updating. Opening the HA app on the phone will instantly update the sensor but it would be ideal if this just worked when the phone was simply plugged in. In the app, the "Is Charging" sensor is listed as "Updates instantly" in the app settings so I would expect it to work. Any thoughts on what might be causing this delay?
