I am doing a full house renovation and now it's an opportunity to add presence sensors properly into the house, so the house does not look like a lab of a crazy person.

I really like Apollo MTR-1 presence sensor and I would like to add one to a corner of each room. The problem is that it is powered by 5V usb C. I do not want cables running down the wall. Ideally the wiring would be within the walls. How do I deliver the pover to it then? What kind of power supply should I use to have a proper setup? For what length I can run such a low voltage cable before I start getting voltage drops that cause problems?

Any help is appreciated!

I'd ask on the apollo discord channel. They've talked about POE models for some of their stuff.

You could also put a outlet exactly where you want to mount the MTR (instead of 18" above the floor) to reduce the amount of wire being seen.
