Hi Tinkerer you are right but I have installed wget https://github.com/terminet85/scsgate/archive/new/hardware.zip
It should have variable port

this is for wifi connection

The last time you mentioned that I pointed out that it isn't an integration for Home Assistant

It's 10 years old, and abandoned

It was written for a very different Home Assistant than exists today

I think that https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/scsgate/ should work only if I change the connectivity

We've talked about that before too

#

The answer from then hasn't changed - that expects a local deivce physically connected to the serial port (or USB)

(or maybe GPIO)

#

It won't magically work with a network device
