Was someone able to control the venetian blinds/shades from Elero with this?

If they are Z-Wave, they'd work with any Z-Wave controller. The functionality depends on the software, not the controller really.
I would not recommend a Z-Stick 7 in EU though, reports are that it has very poor range.

Oh thanks! Was thinking of getting the Yubii Home, since it natively supports the RF protocol from Elero too. The only downside is the price..

Looks like that's a Fibaro product, supported by the Fibaro integration. Versus the Z-Wave integration.
