#How to setup Tuya integration for Smart RF/IR remote control

I have a Tuya Smart RF/IR remote control. It's working in the following ways:

  • I managed to let it control my gate outside so I can open/close it from the Smart Life app
  • Home Assistant can see the device. I added the tuya integration and it seems to be working in the sense that the device is visible

However, I don't know how to actually control it. In Smart Life I have a button to open/close my gate. But the Tuya integration doesn't seem to have any entities. So how do I manage it from within Home Assistant?

Oh never mind. I had to reload the integration. Then it shows up

Ok sorry. But apparently you have to create scenes in the smart life app for every action that you want to have available in HA. A bit cumbersome but ok
