I have installed an ultrasonic sensor to get water levels from my water tank. The way that the card works is the greater the distance (tank approaches empty) the arrow pointsvmore to the right. Ideally I would like it to work like the fuel gauge on my vehicle. That is to say when the tank is full the arrow on the gauge card shoul point to the right, then gradually move to the left as the tank empties. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you make a template sensor to convert distance to percentage full?

Then your gauge card will show 0% (needle to the left) through 100% (needle to the right)

Or just volume rather than percentage
