Internal Connection URL when connected to network and mobile data

Hi, my internet is down but my wifi points still work. I have setup my 'Internal Connection URL' on my Android Companion App which works fine when my 5G is turned OFF (but I am still connected to the wifi). If my mobile data is turned on, I can still connect to the network via wifi but the companion app stops working. Is there a way for the app to use the Internal URL while my phone is connected to both 5G and Wifi? Thanks!

Your phone actually will not use Wi-Fi if it has no data. There is an existing request to use concurrent WiFi but that app needs to support it.
