#What to do with permissions? Why the App is expecting permissions even they exist?

I keep getting a notification for permissions on my Android and if I click the same notification, it takes me to permission screen and I see it exists
What am I missing here?

Yes, I use it regularly for maps and food apps.

for some reason the OS tells the app location is not on the device. Are you running a custom ROM by chance?

have seen cases of custom ROMs not reporting apis correctly

like telling the app it has a light sensor when it does not, and also not telling the app location is actaully on

No, I am using galaxy S23 ultra with no custom ROM. Whatever comes with the phone.

And I use VPN (incase if matters) but I have excluded the home assistant app from VPN.
