Hey I'm new to the zigbee stuff I already bought a zigbee to mqtt stick and I'm looking for use cases.
Well I have found some and one was a remote PC switch pcie.
Well it's tuya zigbee and it says its not compatible with zigbee 2 mqtt but I have no clue if that's true or not.
I would like to just turn the PC on and off with it.

In addition for that are there any tips before I start through with zigbee and are there any recommendations on what zigbee devices to get?

Small side info I do not want to use a 3rd party app like tuya to control this

the thing you kinked is a switch... you will need a coordinator to run a mesh network and since you are in here, a homeassistant

#

i have no idea about that specific switch but you are right not wanting random software controlling something that has access to your pc.

#

if i would like to do that probably I will be a little bit more diy, get a "normal" zigbee relay and wire it to the power button of the pc

#

although this is just a thought I have I did not do it in practice since I do not own any computers other than laptops

security aside that pcie board seems to do more or less the same

one thing in some of the listing they say 433... i hope is not 433 MHz

problem is i have no idea if your zigbee coordinator likes 433 freqs... probably no

i hope you got the 07 and not the 07p7 but for dew devices shall make no difference

I do not know if the 433 will connect to your coordinator they look like different freqs... but is just speculation
