Hello, a couple weeks ago, I bought a couple Aqara water leak sensors and they worked great for a couple days, but now they constantly go offline, and need re-paired with my ZHA instance. Seems this is fairly common as these devices don't conform to the Zigbee standard so work best with an aqara hub. Anyway, I'm returning these and I'm on the lookout for an alternative. Any suggestions?

I have 4 of these and the have been very reliable on ZHA, probably wasn't the sensor so much as the mesh/rf environment. Also, you have to pair these through a router, don't let them pick and even then, you may have to pair them a few times until they stick, but once they do you should be good. Mine have been connected for years.
I paired these directly from ZHA with my SLZB-06m controller. There aren't a ton of zigbee devices in my house, but the one upstairs in my kitchen, has at least 3 zigbee bulbs in range to help mesh. The one downstairs is just on the other side of the wall from my server and the zigbee controller.
I find with the aquara stuff it's best to pick a known good router that's close and use the add via option instead of the normal add device method.
Didn't realize that was an option. Guessing the main trouble with these is that they're poor at finding their own "best route"?
