im not sure what happened i went to open the home assistant app on my phone and i seen a change log pop up i cleared it and now my phone wont connect to home assistant. i can access it from the browser and my home computer but just not the app. is it because i havent updated my home assistant server to the latest version? thank you

I think I just had a similar issue. Usually clearing data/cache fixes it, but when I would try to enter my url of my server I would just get a blank/white screen. Ended up verifying my apps were all up to date. Then I had to delete the Companion App, restart my phone, then redownload the app. Seems like that fixed it.
Well tried that and didn't work lol. But after looking into everything more I think the issue is my VPN... We were having trouble with our Verizon yesterday so I think while they were messing with things they changed me from ipv4 to ipv6 so I don't have any handshake from my VPN...
same problem, i didn't erase the notification, sometimes i do, but i can't connect with my iphone to home assistant, and with compiuter or the phone of my girl friend, it's working... i have to delete and reinstall the application for have 1 maybe 2 days off home assistant working, but i have to do that all time...
yea i got mine working again.. Verizon told my mom they were "making the internet better" (it made it worse) and then enabled IPv6 which killed my VPN and also wiped out all my port forwarding rules....
So your problem has been resolved? I also use a VPN but even disconnecting it I have this problem...
Yes my issue was fixed. For me I was a little easier to fix because I looked at the VPN and it was not completing the handshake. Once I fixed my port forwarding rules the handshake completed and the app started working again
