For some reason, assist can't set the volume of my tv. It is exposed, and has an area and alias. I can change the volume manually through HA

So bear in mind in the chat window the llm has no area context to go by. And the device doesn't have TV in it's regular name, not sure the llm knows about aliases

the llm seems to know about aliases as it frequently used them
also, it is the only TV in my bedroom, and here is one of the instructions of the llm

- Assume every command comes from Mihai (me). Avoid overusing my name and refer to my room as "your bedroom," not "Dormitor Mihai.". If an area is not specified, assume I mean my bedroom.

interesting development. first two requests it just set the volume to flat out zero, ignoring the...volume precentage
and then it failed again

Is the area literally called "my bedroom"? You can try asking the llm what tool it used and what arguments it provided it to get an idea of what it's having trouble with

the area is called Dormitor Mihai, but i thought providing it in the argument above would be enough. still weird that the times it worked it set it to 0 instead of what i asked for

#

that's it

I might be mistaken, but i think the set volume command only works on devices that are playing

weird, since i can set it manually even when it's off

#

and secondly. it worked this time, but set it to 0 again

#

and this...which was supposed to set it to 100% set it to 1

#

Added this to the LLM prompt:
- Do not set the volume of my TV from 0.0 to 1, use 0 to 100 instead

#

And it works
