Can't get to Helpers edit dialog - can't edit or see yaml / code from UI.
Helpers were defined from UI.
Tried restarting. Tried cleaning browser cache.

Running:
HA version:

2024.8.2
Supervisor
2024.12.3
Frontend

well let me just make sure this is the same thing

#

I'm not sure exactly what screen you're trying to get to, and from where

#

can you elaborate a bit (if you haven't updated already)

I've updated to latest,

#

Click on one of my previously defined templates -

Ok so that crossed out pencil means you created this in YAML?

#

It is not editable in the UI

then cog on the right hand side and get this -

#

The ones created in yaml have a message on top stating that -

Close but not exactly. Under the hood there are two 'types' of helper. They have different UI forms.

#

That input_boolean uses a different form than the template helper, and so its message is a little different.

#

So just because a template helper does not have that message, it does not mean it was created in the UI.

#

That crossed out pencil in the helper row tells you if it is editable in the UI. If it is has that icon, it is a yaml based template and you can't edit it.
