Hi all, new to Nabu-casa, but less new to HA in general. During the Christmas holiday I finally got around to setting up a cloud subscription, and now keep seeing an error in my log stating "Fetched https://alexa-api.nabucasa.com/access_token (400)". Now I searched around a bit (google/community/here), and found this error quite often in pasted error logs (mainly of people trouble shooting other errors), but couldn't really find an answer to what it means (or my searching skills are seriously lacking/failing me). Only one dedicated topic to this error on the forums, but without an answer.

So the question is: Is this just a friendly way of HA telling me "be aware, we're getting an Alexa token"? or is this actually an error I need to do something with.

On a related matter, I am not using alexa, but did see that it was still enabled in the settings. Have not yet tried turning it off to see if the message would disappear, but for curiosity sake still would like to know the intent behind the warning 🙂 Thanks!

If anybody can just share if they also get this message on every restart (or not) I would already be helped quite a bit 🙂 For me its simply not clear if this error/warning is an expected behavior or if I need to trouble shoot it further...

This is the expected behavior.
It will go away if you do one of the following:

  1. Link your amazon Alexa account with your NabuCasa account.
  2. Disable Alexa in the voice assistant section you describe above.
