ZBT-1 (Good Batch) not found in HAOS via Win 11 VirtualBox

Hey guys,

I purchased a ZBT-1 in December from ameriDroid and have tried to get HAOS to recognize it to no avail.

ameriDroid have stated that this ZBT-1 should be from a working batch since it was sent out around December 12th 2024.

I have connected the ZBT-1 to my Windows 11 machine and Windows detects it in Device Manager, albeit it says "The drivers for the device are not installed"

VirtuBox did initially recognize this Device as a ZBT-1, and I selected it for sharing from host to guest. However, in HA > Settings > System > Hardware, the device never showed up.

I have been through the trouble-shooting steps on https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=82639 and created a filter, but again the device still doesn't show in HA.

I restarted the host and guest a few times, and now seemingly the ZBT-1 shows up in Virtualbox as "Cygnal Integrated Products, inc. CP210x UART Bridge / myAVR mySmartUSB light [0100]"

Again, i tried to create a filter for this as per the Virtualbox forums link above, but it is still not recognized in HA.

If i hover over the device in the VM taskbar window it shows as "Captured".

I cannot find the naming of Cygnal Integrated Products, inc. CP210x UART Bridge / myAVR mySmartUSB light [0100]" in device manager, but I did disable the ZBT-1 in device manager and tried all the steps again, to no avail.

Does anyone know of anything else to try? Thanks

If i do NOT set a filter or select the device to be passed through before the VM is started, and then try and share the device to the guest using the VM task bar, then a message stating that it cannot be attached due to the device being bust with a previous request.

Which, is the entire point of the filter to combat this. Thanks.
