Hi everyone,

I am currently using HA on Hyper-V VM (HAOS), a Bluetooth dongle, usbipd-win + ha-usbip-client in order to use the Bluetooth dongle from the Hyper-V VM.

I currently have three SwitchBot Bluetooth sensors and do not have the SwitchBot Hub.

I would like to buy an ESP32 board with Ethernet interface (NO PoE) + external Bluetooth antenna to have a ESPHome Bluetooth proxy, and I found these:

  • Olimex ESP32-GATEWAY-EA (link)

  • Olimex ESP32-EVB-EA (link)

  • ESP32-S3 ETH Development Board (link), but looks difficult to start with

Are they good boards or are there alternatives that have come out more recently?
