again it depends. do you need the ability to track multiple persons or divide the room into zones? apolloautomation.com have two that are supposedly very good with ha. i have ordered one. linknlink have a really cheap one that i might want where i don't need zoning.

some key differences
pir/motion sensors are traditionally quicker to react than radar. and they see only within the room. finding out when the room is unoccupied is their main problem.
with radar you can see through the wall and turn on the light before a person enters. but that may also give false positives. some radar sensors can map 2d and set up a zone. others can just set up a max distance. your floor plan and sensor placement must dictate your need.
some sensors have both.
