Is there a way to make mic more sensitive as it does not seem to work on wake word that offended and if I'm the other side of the room it will not work I'm ending up shouting at it for it to wake up

if you adopt the voice-pe so you can change the microphone gain (by factors of 2) in the microphone section of the yaml code with the amplify_shift. I believe that is channel_0 for FormatBCE's respeaker-lite, but not sure for voice-pe. KevinA could tell you for sure.

  - platform: nabu_microphone
    i2s_din_pin: GPIO15
    adc_type: external
    pdm: false
    sample_rate: 16000
    bits_per_sample: 32bit
    i2s_mode: secondary
    i2s_audio_id: i2s_input
    channel_0:
      id: asr_mic
      amplify_shift: 0
    channel_1:
      id: comm_mic
      amplify_shift: 2

You can also change the probablity_cutoff in the models section. I noticed that values of lower than 0.9 give more false triggers to the TV etc.

I still have not got this to work I have to shout across the room ok nabu for it to hear/listen to me only seem to be the wake word

So increasing the amplify_shift did not make any difference? Maybe try 'Hey Jarvis' for the wake word.
