#Has JS modules loading changed recently?

It appears my JS modules starts loading only when dashboard is displayed?
This was not the case until recently when they were always loaded along with the page.
If so why has it not been mentioned in the breaking changes...

I recall reading they optimized startup performance of the web UI by only loading visible views but now I can't find where I saw that
