Hi there, been using phillips hue for ages and done some Zigbee stuff before. Just recently bought some new zigbee lights, but cant get the hue bridge to see them. As far as I can tell, it should just work? The lights are HGZB-07A downlights

i cannot answer about the hue bridge, but many vendor-supplied bridges will not "see" zigbee devices from other vendors. some can be flashed with more open firmware or you can get one of the recommended zigbee dongles for your ha server and either connect your non-hue endpoints to that or reconnect everything directly to ha and remove the hue bridge altogether.

Are they zigbee 3.0? Hue should see any zigbee 3.0 light or plug.

they should be 3.0. and they claim to be compatible with hue hub. i did a quick search and i see that there was a problem i ha where they were recognized as light strips instead of downlights.

if you can't even get them to be seen by the hue hub then i don't think it is a ha issue. but hopefully someone here has experience with the hue hubs and any quirks
