#Schedule Helper - Target Group instead of Area

That's the heart of it. I'd like to use the Schedule Helper for a group of Aquarium lights that are not in the same area.

I was unsure where to ask help on Helpers. If this is the wrong area, please inform me as to where I should ask.

The schedule just turns on and off, it's up to you what you do with that.

Thanks for the response. Obviously I do not understand the process.

If I'm making an automation for this, I'd assume I'd use time as the trigger, but then what is the schedule used for?

If I'd chosen an area for the Schedule Helper, would I need to create an additional automation to adhere to that schedule?

Edit: I did not read the full documentation on the Schedule Helper. I'll post another thread if I can't get it working.

Schedule just turns on and off

It doesn't turn off anything else unless you automate on it.

The area it's in isn't really a factor.
