#Anybody using a TP-Link Kasa KS240 (or similar)?

Since no one had an experience to share, I've purchased a pair of those and will set them up later tonight! Hopefully I can provide meaningful feedback for anyone else looking into those!
You need stable 2.4 WiFi for sure
They're very sensitive to any interference, broadcast/multicast storms etc
They require cloud connectivity, but the HA interaction is local
Source: Me with a stupid number of Kasa devices lol
Actually I just saw this is a native HomeKit device, so it's possible you could pair it with HA using the HomeKit integration and cut out the cloud part
I came back to give feedback on them, and you're absolutely right, it's a homekit device and works with the kasa cli for provisioning, no cloud needed at all!
it feels sturdy and well-built, works really well and integrates nicely with Home Assistant like it's not even a TP-Link device. And looks really slick, too, with its 2 touch bars for dimmers.
