Is there a way of triggering Assist via a script or some other method while an ipad is in Guided Access mode? I browsed through the various services but didn't see anything obvious. Thanks!

Triggering it on what satellite? On the ipad browser?

Thanks for the response. On the ipad itself. My above question was a bit incorrect. I have the menu and sidebar hidden. I wish to have a yaml button on my dashboard to click and bring up Assist instead of the little 3 dots, which are now hidden.

Add a button card. As the tap action, choose Assist. You can optionally also start listening. It might work with any card with a tap action, but i haven't tried

that worked perfectly, even in guided access. Very cool. i used a custom button card. any idea how to keep it listening as long as Assist is up? after the first response I have to press the little microphone button again. I'll do a bit more digging.

Somewhat related question... Is there any way to trigger Voice PE to listen for a command using an action/script/automation? For example, I have a Zigbee button that I'd like to use to get my Voice PE to light up the ring and start listening for a command. From what I can tell this is not possible today, but curious if it's something that is being considered (i.e., 'Start listening' button exposed in HA by Voice PE)
