We got, as many people have, our Voice PE and got it set up last night.
My wife set it up and it works well. But it won't respond to my voice using the wake phrase.

Have we missed a step? Are we being dumb? Any advice would be welcome. 🙂

It isn't specific to voices, should work for anyone. Maybe the current wake model has trouble with your voice. You could submit some samples for the next model iteration 🙂

Also you could try taking control over PE and lowering probability cut-off.

Oooh, by worth a try. We did change the wake word from Jarvis to Mycroft, and it's working fine. Very odd.

Noticed the same. My kids cannot trigger Jarvis at all (higher pitch perhaps ?) and I have issues with Nabu. Guess i watched too much star wars and put the emphasis on "Bu/boo"

okay nabu is the only wakeword trained with real voices. o tought you can send your recording.

Same issue here with "Okay Nabu" works pretty reliable for me, but only works 10-15% of the time for my partner. Hoping this improves with more wake word training with real voices.
