Hi so I recently bought two Tapo P100 hoping to use them for automations based on how much power is being used but it seems to be missing that entity is there anyway to get this working in home assistant?

AFAIK the Tapo P100 does not have energy monitoring functionality. The Tapo P110 is what you need for that.

Ok yeah just noticed on Amazon it doesn't say energy monitoring so that my bad. But do you know if that info shows up in home assistant for p110 cause I have tapo lights that do show energy information in the tapo app but not in home assistant
Just don't want to splash out more money if the integration just doesn't have access to the information

Yes, the P110 has a whole stack of info available in HA. I use six P110s to drive a variety of automations for big appliances and to control some smaller devices like fans and radiators.
