Can anyone offer insight on to why this seems to be so difficult? Running the HAOS SD card image on a Pi3 8GB. this is a small system in my apartment.
I have 1 POE Onvif camera that im trying to capture a video when my door open/close sensor is opened.
No matter what i try i cannot get it to save the file. automation fails with "Error: Can't write " /media/20250103-155428.mp4 ", no access to path!"
Ive already added the allow list to config and restarted.
Stuck on how something seemingly so simple is mission impossible judging from all the posts about this task ive come across. is there somewhere else i should be saving to? id like it to show up in the media browser. after this part is working possibly send a still image notification to my phone but id like to atleast get this part working first. any help is appreciated. on hour 3 of messing with this one automation. many thanks!
