Is it possible to use wyoming-mic-external (https://github.com/rhasspy/wyoming-mic-external) with my mic from MacOS and wyoming-satellite on my rpi 5 where I have Home Automation installed? And the same thing applies for wyoming-snd-external (https://github.com/rhasspy/wyoming-snd-external) but I think if it would be possible for the mic, it would be possible for external sound too.

you could also run wyoming-satellite on your MacOS directly. But i am not sure, how the sound system on mac is working. Is it like ubuntu and you have a pulseaudio? I am currently working on a little fork where you can use docker containers and a image which uses pulse audio.

If you want, and have some time and background we can work on that.
By the way i am just community.
Yea, I was thinking to use pulseaudio on macos and create a virtual audio and pass it to wyoming satellite, but there are some issues with dbus on macos and I couldn’t install pulseaudio, nor could I compile it from scratch, and the resources are kind of scarce…
