#Hive Thermostat integration

Complete newb to HA doing some research currently. I have a Hive SLDT thermostat (thermostat and boiler receiever, no Hive Hub or login etc). It looks like I can connect to it pretty easily with Zigbee and I've got a USB adapter on the way to find out.

I guess this is a more general question, Do devices allow for multiple connections? In this instance I want to use HA via Zigbee as well as the Hive Thermostat.

Anyone with this setup have any advice?

Haha when I was searching the discord for this topic you were the person I hoped would reply!

You have the Hive wall thermostat working as normal, and the ability to control via HA via Zigbee2Mqtt as well?

Yup those are the exact steps and yes, manual control still works, including the boost button
