#Help regarding Home Assistant Green

I am doing a push regarding my connected home going from a somewhat home brewed solution that I am very tired of to Home Assistant that I did try many years ago but never liked back then mostly due to the yaml heaven.

Years later I am a new person (not loving yaml at all but I have more patience at least). So I wanted to get going with the easiest possible solution and found the HA Green.

I plan on running my 20 or so lights, some ESP32s for some custom stuff (wine cellar etc.). Plan on utilizing NetDaemon (C# rules the world 🤘).

Would this be doable on the green? I have looked into buying a N100 or 6500t refurbed but it’s just not what I want to tinker with atm if I don’t absolutely have to and risk burning my self out on this project because of that.

Thanks for any help I can get guiding me

Thanks for the link! Yeah it’s not so much the install that would burn me out but doing it right with setting up proxmox and probably moving some other standalone stuff to it would get me I think. But looking at the charts it might be worth it for some extra punch.

I’m all with you on the virtualization! That’s part of it as I would want to do it right if I set up a better server at home. The main problem is limited time for a project like this and it feels like just ”HA stuff” is enough. But I will consider making the extra push. Or just get the green now and take the extra time if/when I have to.

But thanks again for the link, great information!
