I have about 65 Thread/Matter devices in HA. Under 6.x and prior a HA reboot or Matter server reboot would take about 30-45 minutes to get all my devices online. However, with today's 7.0, it appears that all 65 devices were up in about 10 minutes. I was told in 6.x the slow start was intentionally throttled to not overwhelm the Thread network. I'm MUCH happier with the 10 minute initializion time if that is now more the norm for my sized network.

Yes, same here. I have 68 Matter over Thread devices. 10 minutes is much more appreciated than 30/45 minutes. 😃👍

I only did the initial automatic restart after the update to 7.0.0. So time will tell, if it’s reproducible.

I rebooted my HAOS Proxmox host a couple of time, and both times all Matter devices were online in about 10 minutes. Fantastic work!

The speedup is actually due to optimizations in the actual SDK (we bumped it to 1.4 in the 7.0.0 release) - nice to hear that it actually makes such an impact
