I was wondering if anyone here has one they have set up recently. I tried a few approaches from following a few guides I found with a basic google search and didn't have any success. There was a lot of warning that you need to do a backup of the software as there isnt way to restore the device without it. Since I failed from the start, I decided not to risk bricking my device. So I'm looking for someone who has set it up and if they could help me out from scratch. Just a note, from what I found online so far, the "guides" are over a year old. Also, if you have this device and use HA on it, would you say its worth it to have a 4 inch touchscreen? Is it responsive? Did you go though all the trouble to get it setup and now its in a box?

I can't help with setup, but I have a similar device (Lenovo Smart Clock), in my view it's good for a basic dashboard but it quickly becomes slow and unreliable if you want something that looks good. I actually use it to control stuff from my desk in my office so has some very simple controls on it, buttons etc. Nothing fancy.

@fickle comet thanks for the reply, did you use MTKClient and lineageOS?
