Hey guys,

I own a property in a different country and have setup some Reolink cameras and a Reolink doorbell which i access via the Reolink android app on my phone.

I recently started running HA on my unraid box at my home and was wondering how it is possible for me to integrate the remote location devices into my HA here at home.

I have read something about an NVR, i do NOT own one.

One more thing to note is that i have a ASUS AC86U Router with modified Merlin Firmware running in that location, which is also running a OpenVPN server so i can VPN into the remote property, if that helps with something.

I use it with an NVR in a remote instance, but I don't believe that's a requirement because in the process of setting up doorbells from Reolink at home and they use it as well.
I then can remote into Home assistant and see the cameras in a dashboard.

this only describes how to add devices in the same location though right?

my problem is my unraid server with HA in VM is in my home

Well I have NA running there and here. I added them there and remote into that HA to look at them.
This would be too much traffic I think to pull them directly across the wan.
