I bought this dongle: https://tinyurl.com/4a3fx5a6
I red the reviews about the dongle, so I upgraded the recommended firmware to the latest ZB-GW04 v1.2 using this site: https://darkxst.github.io/silabs-firmware-builder/
I installed into the top left USB port of my Raspberry Pi running Home Assistant.
I've rebooted the Pi after installing the USB Dongle in one of the black USB ports on the PI.
I 'm trying to install the ZHA integration.
The USB stick is recognized on /dev/ttyUSB0
I've tried various combinations of options for radio type, Hardware/Software flow control, Port speed. But no combination has worked. It says "Failed to connect"
The reviews on the USB dongle say it works with HA, but no specifics on what options to choose.
Help?

One thing I didn't understand is that the reviews mentioned "works well with zigbee2mqtt" which I didn't find any integrations or addons for. Might I be using the wrong process?

Make sure you flashed the correct firmware. You need to install the "EZSP" firmware, and make sure the revision you use matches the one printed on the board in your device. It should work with ZHA integration with the speed set to 115200 baud. If you have the v1.1, then you need to turn hardware flow control off (use software flow control).

also what's up with your link? it's a shortened url that goes to a tracking redirector service that goes to aliexpress - please just post the final link with the tracking stuff removed :)
