I am doing two projects today,

switching from Raspberry Pie to a dell thin client.

And I want to switch from DuckDNS to another, more secure option.

I was planning to get the raspberry pi 3 all set up with the new configuration, then back it up and transfer it to the new hardware. does that make The most sense? Problem is I am not sure if I should go with Cloudflare, which I use for tunnels on my unRAID server, or Tailscale.

any tips and tricks for the cloudflare setup? I have only added it via docker on my server so this is a little outside my boundaries. Any real difference between CF and Tailscale?

Cloudflare is not going well. I don't understand the options like,

If you only want to expose other services, you can leave external_hostname empty and set additional_hosts as described below.

I dont' kow what that means.
