Hi all, I am an amazon echo pop user in France and am trying to connect my echo pop to HA and use it as a media source. The device gets picked up by the integration, but appears unavailable and is not in the list of media sources.
I tried restarting HA to fix and now there are two of every device, anyone had this problem and know how to fix?

I set it up all over again with the right locale and everything works except the media source, I guess this is an amazon limitation? so will have to do without and continue using spotify/amazon music for now.

Alexas don’t support a lot of media sources other than “Amazon-Approved” ones. What source are you trying to use with it out of curiosity?
The media browser doesn’t work with it. It’s an Alexa limitation, I have a few and have been looking to replace them so I can get AirPlay and better control over them.

I have some mp3 files on my media server and was experimenting to see if my existing speakers could play them.
I mainly use spotify for music so not a dealbreaker yet.

There’s workarounds for MP3 I think- but they need to be publicly accessible via a URL.

Ok, so I'd have to add them to my website files and make them public. I'll have to look into that, thanks!
