I read that Music Assistant works with HA Voice PE and even in the demo they press the center button twice to activate it. Is there a voice command to do this or do I have to press the button? Every voice command I've tried doesn't work. Thanks!

Should check in the music assistant discord, but basically the voice commands aren't natively part of HA, it's something you set up as part of MA

Unfortunately the instructions in the above link do not work now that the integration has moved into the core it seems. Very unfortunate as I've a HA Voice PE sitting here that I have no easy way to play music on via voice control, which was one of the main reasons for buying it ☹️

Because it was based on separate interation with LLM. Now it should be integrated into HA.

OK. I mean for a normal user like myself functionality has been lost for the time being, just a bit surprised by that. Would be nice to have the Music Assistant docs updated to say voice control is arriving via a blueprint in the future.

I'd argue you're normal user - you're on Discord. 🙂 And you're using Music Assistant (with LLM, supposedly). This stack is not ready yet. The old way was buggy and beta-like too.

has anyone had luck getting the local blueprint running from that repo? I'm trying to get it running but any assistant commands I'm entering (voice or typing) aren't triggering music-assistant intents. I feel I've missed something in the installation process...

I replied to your issue on the repo, I think you aren't saying the phrases right. They need to be said in a very specific way as noted in the repo's readme 🙂
