Hi, i have just got the voice PE plugged it in and it did not show up in home assistant it showed up on my bluetooth list but would not pair.. but when I unplugged it and plugged it back it it like it not got any power now .. I have try 3 different 5v cables with now luck .. any ideas or is it just faulty and need to be sent back

Have you tried a reset by holding the button down?

Or is there no response at all in any way?

And what do you mean bluetooth list? You tried to pair it to your phone like BT speaker or headphones?

Yes i have try holding the button down no reponse at all .. when i had power i could see it in my phone bluetooth list

If you plug it into a pc is it recognized? For example can the firmware be updated to latest from here: https://esphome.github.io/home-assistant-voice-pe/

Have you tried following the setup instructions? At no point do they mention pairing https://voice-pe.home-assistant.io/getting-started/

I'm not getting : You should see a warm white twinkle animation. And I'm not see it now in home assistant or on the bluetooth list

Forget the bluetooth list and reset your device (keep the center button pressed for more than 20s), then start over
