Is there an externally powered (12V,24V,USB, etc) Wifi camera that works with Frigate that supports continues streaming and required protocols? I use a Reolink Wi-fi doorbell that works flawlessly. Wi-Fi isn't the issue, power is. I can supply low voltage power to a camera location, but not run CAT6 from cmaera to the Frigate system.
#Wi-fi for Frigate?

I should have specified outdoor
You mention having a Reolink doorbell.. what about just picking up one of their WiFi cameras..?
Plenty of options
It's not clear that all of their equipment plays well with Frigate
I’m pretty sure the HTTP FLV streams are fine universally, it’s mainly the ONVIF/RTSP from what I’ve seen. Could be wrong though
Amcrest also makes outdoor WiFi cameras
OK .. thanks ... when it comes to Frigate and cameras I look to those with hands on experience
Yeah.. I only have a Reolink WiFi doorbell and some eufy (🤮) battery cams with RTSP 🤣
It seems like there are hundreds of options .... and NO battery cams unless they support 24x7 operation and they have Low voltage charging. Then the battery become backup to power failure
The only battery cam I know of that has 24/7 ONVIF recording capability is the Reolink Altas PT Ultra
Was debating switching the eufy to those with the Home Hub accessory so I can get the sensors locally into HA
I don't need battery, I can use 12V supply with built-in battery backup
yeah, was just mentioning it since you mentioned battery
If they have battery, that's a plus. But they have to work well with Frigate and I don't want to waste time and money doing the experiments
I was also considering the Reolink Atlas PT Ultra. Would love to know if this would work. I discussion with Digiblur he stated that the battery wouldn't last full 24/7 with no direct sun light daily.
Did you ever find a solution?
Still pondering and researching
